Day 01 Srinagar
Arrival in Srinagar. Meet our tour representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to a houseboat in Dal Lake/ Nagin Lake. Complete the check-in formalities. Lunch is followed by a Shikara ride on the placid waters of the Lake, one of the most popular things to do in Srinagar. Later on, get ready to visit the breathtaking Mughal Gardens-founded in the Mughal era. Nishat Bagh, Chashme-e-Shahi and Shalimar Bagh comprise the Mughal gardens.

Day 02 Srinagar – Kargil (204 km / 6-7 hours)
On day 2, post breakfast get ready for your road transfer to Kargil. On the way, there are halts at Sonamarg –a pristine valley with lush views and snow-clad peak; Zo jila Pass (a high altitude pass); Drass Village- the world’s 2nd coldest inhabitant place. Here you visit War memorial hall and Museum- also known as Vijaypath. The memorial was constructed by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army who laid their lives in Kargil War. Evening arrival in Kargil. Check-in formalities.

Day 03 : Kargil to Alchi (160 kms / 5-6 Hrs)
Morning after Breakfast leave for Alchi, enroute visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and Moon Landscape. Arrive Alchi by evening. Overnight Camp.
Day 04 : Alchi to Leh (72 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)
After Breakfast leave for Leh enroute visit Alchi, Likir Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame. Reach Leh by Evening. Overnight Hotel.
Day 05 Leh - Nubra Valley (120 km / 4-5 hours)
On the 4th day, after breakfast get ready for transfer to the gorgeous Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass- one of the highest motorable roads in the world with an altitude of 18,380 feet. As you reach the Valley, check into the hotel. Have lunch. Later, leave the comforts of your room to enjoy a ride on double-humped camel’s back to explore the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. Treat your eyes to the scenery all around.
Overnight in Nubra Valley.
Day 06 Nubra Valley – Pangong via Shayok River (120 km / 4-5 hours)
Enjoy breakfast in the morning. Thereafter, get ready for sightseeing in Nubra including Deskit Monastery- the largest and the oldest Buddhist monastery here. From the top, savor wonderful views of the surroundings. Later start your road journey for the gorgeous Pangong Lake (14,500 feet) via River Shayok. As you arrive at the camp, check-in. The evening is at leisure. Relish the stunning sunset views while relaxing on the banks of the Lake.

Day 07 Pangong Lake – Leh (170 km / 6-7 hours)
Get up early in the morning to enjoy the real beauty of this place. Enjoy the scenic view of sun rise on lake. Notice how the water’s color glistens like diamonds. Post breakfast, start your drive back to Leh. On the way, halt to visit two popular monasteries of Ladakh- Thiksey Monastery – a 12- storey Gompa with 10 temples and an assembly hall, and Shey Palace- a royal palace on a hilltop that also has a monastery. Check into the hotel as you reach Leh.

Day 08 : Leh to Delhi
Transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
