Overview :
Kerala, a state on India's tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It's known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.

Destinations : Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Houseboat - Kovalam - Trivandrum

Day 01 - Cochin
You are greeted on arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station by The Travel Planners representative and thereafter transfer to Hotel. Afternoon you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Overnight at Hotel Abaam Hotel - Emerald Room.

NB - Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry Palace etc are closed on all Fridays & Saturdays.

Day 02 - Munnar
Morning drive to Munnar covering a distance of 130 kms / 4 hrs enroute visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in Bracknel Forest Resort - Super Deluxe Room.

Day 03 - Munnar sightseeing
Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum, Pothamedu etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stay in Bracknel Forest Resort - Super Deluxe Room.

Day 04 - Thekkady
Morning drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 3.5 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the Resort. After lunch visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at Spice Grove - Deluxe Room.

Day 05 - Houseboat (Backwater Place)
Today morning after breakfast Proceed to Alleppey, Known as the Venice of the East. On arrival check into a Traditional Houseboat of Kerala Style and cruise through the backwaters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of backwaters. Stay overnight in Houseboat - Deluxe A/c.

Day 06 - Kovalam - Trivandrum
Today morning after breakfast disembark houseboat and drive to Kovalam (Trivandrum). On arrival check in to the Resort. Evening free to relax at the Beach. Overnight stay at Travancore Heritage.

Day 07 - Kovalam - Trivandrum
Today morning after breakfast you can go for the sightseeing of Trivandrum [The Capital of Kerala]. Here you can see the 260 year old Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, covers an area of 2400 sq Km, Puthan Maliga Palace Museum [200 year old Palace of the Travancore Maharaja's], Napier Museum [Which has an electric display of bronzes, Zoo, temple carts, Ivory carvings etc..] and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Evening relax at Resort and Overnight at The Travancore Heritage.

NB - Horse Palace, Napier Museum, Zoo and the Srichitra Art Gallery are closed on Mondays.

Day 08 - Departure Morning after breakfast departure transfer to Trivandrum Airport.
